FAITH
STATEMENT OF FAITH
THE HOLY BIBLE
We believe The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is without any error, and it is the all sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine and Christian living.
TRINITY
We believe in one God eternally existing in Three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven where He sits at the right hand of The Father, and His actions for us as our High Priest and Advocate.
MAN
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, but that all mankind has chosen to sin which has resulted in their eternal separation from God. Man’s salvation and spiritual life can only be obtained through the regenerative work of The Holy Spirit.
ETERNAL SALVATION
We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, and it is entirely apart from man’s works.This salvation is possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
BAPTISM
We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross.
REGENERATION
Regeneration by The Holy Spirit is absolutely essential to personal salvation(Titus 3:5) and also in the Baptism of The Holy Spirit, given to believers who ask for it, with all the evidence manifested in the Book of Acts 2:4
POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
In the sanctifying power of The Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the personal, physical, imminent and glorious return of The Lord Jesus Christ. His second coming inspires believers for dynamic, zealous lives and service for Him while waiting for His return.
THE CHURCH
The Church of Jesus Christ is the universal, spiritual body of believers from every tribe, tongue, kindred and race of peoples, and is in-dwelt by God through The Holy Spirit and divinely empowered to fulfill the Great Commission on earth.
